In 2008, our donation budget was increased to $2.7 million. 30% of this went to programs and organizations that supported youth in mind, body and spirit.
Agrium Employees Give Back
Agrium and its employees are active in United Way programs. In 2007, we matched employee donations, dollar for dollar to contribute over $400,000.

Community Investment Program
Rural Communities - In most instances our facilities are located in smaller rural communities. As one of the major employers in these communities we have a role to play beyond employing residents.
Global Community Contributions - With our rapid growth and global expansion, our charitable contributions and the types of projects we undertake must be adjusted to reflect a bigger and more global Agrium.
If you have an organization or program you think would be good fit for Agrium, submit your application to us. Your program must affect one or more communities where Agrium has operations.
Application deadlines: Applications must be received by November 15 each year. The committee's decision will be announced by December 31. Successful applicants will be notified and posted on our website at that time.
